Already for the seventh time the Villa Decius Association offers an internship under the annual programme “Grasz o staż” (play for an internship). In order to gain an internship the candidates have to solve tasks from a chosen field of topics and to present themselves positively in an interview. The winner will have the opportunity to get to know and to create one of the biggest educational ventures of this kind in Central Europe – the Visegrad Summer School.
Stowarzyszenie Willa Decjusza serdecznie zaprasza na koncert inauguracyjny z cyklu Dziedzictwo Fryderyka Chopina – 10 grudnia 2006, godz. 16.00. Celem nowego cyklu muzycznego jest popularyzowanie dziedzictwa Fryderyka Chopina w Willi Decjusza w Krakowie – miejscu, gdzie w latach 1869-1894 mieszkała, gromadziła pamiątki po kompozytorze oraz organizowała patriotyczny salon artystyczny wraz z koncertami muzyki klasycznej uczennica Chopina, Księżna Marcelina Czartoryska.
The Community of Dialogue. Dialogue of cultures – tradition and future. International conference 12-13 October 2006. The aim of The Community of Dialogue program is strengthening of a democratic state of law and civil society through a promotion of an intercultural dialogue and shaping attitudes of openness to the Other. The program is educational and promotional in its character and constitutes a continuation of the Villa Decius Association activities in the field of human rights, eg. Minorities in Everyday Life and My Europe program implemented in the period of 1999-2005.
(POL) Jubileusz dziesięciolecia działalności Willi Decjusza jako międzynarodowej instytucji kultury pragniemy uczcić spotkaniem ze wszystkimi, którzy przyczynili się do odnowienia renesansowej Willi, Władzami Miasta, twórcami Stowarzyszenia, fundatorami i mecenasami, którzy wspierają jego działalność, przedstawicielami instytucji partnerskich oraz szeroką publicznością.
Jak wskazują statystyki, migracja ludności do i wewnątrz krajów UE stale rośnie. Tendencje te będą się przypuszczalnie nasilać w przyszłości w takim stopniu, iż utrzymywanie imigrantów na marginesie życia społecznego nie będzie już możliwe, gdyż stanie się groźne tak pod względem społecznym (potencjalny wzrost przestępczości) jak i ekonomicznym (prawdopodobne nielegalne zatrudnienie).
The aim of the Visegrad Summer School is to provide an attractive and alternative learning space for young people from Central Europe and enable them to get acquainted with the most important social, security, economic, political and cultural issues which may reinforce or inhibit their European co-operation.
The ceremony of awarding the Sergio Vieira de Mello Prize took place within the framework of an international conference “Non-violent Revolutions” on 6 October 2005 at Villa Decius, Krakow. Among the laureates there are: Marian Żelazek SVD (In the “individual” category) and The Krzyżowa Foundation for European Understanding (In the “NGO” category).
(POL) Odbudowa pokoju w społeczeństwach postkonflikowych – 29 – 30 września 2004. Celem konferencji jest prezentacja i omówienie zagadnień związanych z przywracaniem i utrzymaniem pokoju w społeczeństwach post-konfliktowych, w tym w roli autorytetów, międzynarodowych instytucji, międzynarodowych i lokalnych mediów oraz organizacji obywatelskich.
