The third edition of our “Hip Hop, Put Hate to Stop” workshops carried out as part of the Citizens for Democracy programme, financed from the EEA Funds, took place between 15 and 17 October and 20 and 21 October 2014.This time, we visited the A. Zamoyski Secondary School in Jadów in the Masovian Region.

RenEU ‒ New Renaissance in Europe” series.The play will be presented on 26 October (Sunday) at 6:00 p.m. Admission is free with tickets available from 21 October (Tuesday) at the InfoKraków points (ul. św. Jana 2, Wyspiański Pavilion), and directly before the event.The number of places is limited.
On 25 October 2014, Jan Kochanowski’s Satyr albo Dziki Mąż (Satyr or the Wild Man) was presented in the Castle in Sucha Beskidzka. This was yet another event organised as part of the project called “Gardens of Creativity: RenEU New Renaissance in Europe” dedicated to the stage creations incorporated into the historic spaces of Renaissance buildings. The performance featured Bolesław Brzozowski, Juliusz Chrząstowski, Rafał Jędrzejczyk, and the Gaspare Castiglione Historical Music Ensemble from Sucha Beskidzka.
(POL) Rozpoczęliśmy piątą edycję warsztatów kreatywnego pisania dla osób starszych SAGA. Uczestnicy dwóch grup wyłonieni zostali spośród absolwentów poprzednich edycji projektu. Kurs kreatywnego pisania na poziomie zaawansowanym poprowadzą: Katarzyna Kubisiowska – dziennikarka „Tygodnika Powszechnego” oraz Michał Olszewski – redaktor naczelny „Gazety Wyborczej” w Krakowie. Zajęcia potrwają do końca listopada 2014 roku.
We would like to invite you to a meeting with Lawon Barszczeuski, Belorussian writer, translator, and politician, this year’s holder of the scholarship of the City of Kraków as part of the ICORN programme, during the Conrad Festival in Kraków. The meeting will take place on the fourth day of the festival ‒ on 23 October (Thursday) at 3:00 p.m., at Pałac pod Baranami (Rynek Główny 27). The meeting will be moderated by Małgorzata Nocuń, editor of Nowa Europa Wschodnia. Admission is free.
We would like to invite everyone to Villa Decius on Sunday, 19 October at 6:00 p.m., for a multimedia show entitled Duomo (Cathedral), inspired by an engraving of one of the most award-winning masters of copperplate engraving ‒ Krzysztof Skórczewski. The historic interiors of the Villa will be filled with a multimedia arrangement, constituting a compilation of sound forms, light, and music, with the use of computer techniques, 3D graphics, and animation.
We would like to invite everyone to Villa Decius for a concert that will take place on 14 October (Tuesday) at 7:00 p.m. as part of the 6th edition of the International Royal Krakow Piano Festival organised by the PianoClassic Association.Martin Kasik (Czech Republic) will perform during the recital inaugurating the Festival.This outstanding pianist from behind our southern border will present, among others, some compositions of Vítězslav Novák ‒ neo-Romantic Czech composer, pupil of Antonin Dvořák.
