As a part of the next meeting within ‘Chopin’s heritage’ in Decius Villa, the newest project of the court ballet Cracovia Danza will be presented. The premiere play, being a part of a preperation for the Year of Fryderyk Chopin, is based on composer’s dance music. His compositions became an outline for dance-pantomimic show performed by dancers of a court ballet, staged by Roman Agnel and Artur Borkowski.
8-9 October 2009, Villa Decius – The Challenges of Freedom International Conference will be an attempt to reflect on and discuss questions connected with freedom in its public and private dimensions and from historical as well as forward-looking perspectives. The programme of the conference will combine intellectual contributions from internationally recognised personalities and European experts with debates and discussion sessions open to representatives of the academic and cultural milieux, political organisations, NGOs, public administration.
On 15-th October in Villa Decius the second edition of The Academy of Anti-discrimination Training will be inaugurated. The Academy is a comprehensive program of Villa Decius Association directed to individuals working for and cooperating with Polish non-governmental organizations.

The Villa Decius Association invites you for a concert organized in a framework of the Heritage of Chopin program. Next meeting will present Przemyslaw Witek’s piano recital – Laureate of First European Piano Competition Halina Czerny – Stefańska in memorian, which took place on 17 – 21 September 2008 in Music Academy in Poznan. Concert in the Villa Decius is one of the prize for the first place in this competition.
Mija rok spotkań, warsztatów i wspólnej pracy uczestniczek i uczestników I edycji Akademii Treningu Antydyskryminacyjnego. Akademia, realizowana w okresie od września 2008 do września 2009, w łącznym wymiarze 340 godzin, obejmowała udział w treningu interpersonalnym, naukę umiejętności trenerskich i zdobywanie aktualnej wiedzy przygotowującej do prowadzenia warsztatów antydyskryminacyjnych i warsztatów kompetencji międzykulturowych.

As a result of prior workshops on highly varied material presenting the culture of the turn of the 1970’s and 1980’s, ranging from literary works through lyrics, comics, propaganda brochures, press columns, to music tunes and art works; a final spectacle will be created. The script of the play will be written by the project manager and a director Wiesław Hołdys.
