The Villa Decius Association invites you for a concert organized in a framework of the Heritage of Chopin programme. Relating to the history of Villa Decius, where Princess Marcelina Czartoryska, one of Chopin’s students, was organizing art salons, the upcoming meeting will be an encounter with Danish musicians. Princess Czartoryska liked having as guests, in Paris as well as in Krakow, Mozartian string quartets, therefore during the evening we will hear string quartet Mira Kvartetten.
Mira Kvartetten is one of the leading Danish string quartets. The group was founded in 1999 by four musicians- enthusiasts. At that time they were performing roles in various symphonic orchestras of Aarhus, Odense and Aalborg.
Mira Kvartetten:
- Signe Madsen (DK) – I violin
- Birgitte Barentzen Pihl (DK) – II violin
- Anna Dolezych Dahl (PL) – viola
- Vincent Stadlmair (A) – cello
