A series of performances on the outdoor stage in the Villa Decius gardens ended, on August 1, 2014, with the presentation of international ensemble Decius Danza. The extensive repertoire spans various styles and dance techniques. Artists presented French pavane in different variants, Italian renaissance dances, Spanish historical dances whose rhythm was marked by castanets, and dignified English dance. Distant culture of India was recalled by the classical Kathak dances, whereas the Polish aspect was represented by various forms of mazur dance, walking and running. Dancers were accompanied by vocal sections performed by participants of Renaissance singing workshops.
