This year’s fourteenth edition of “CRACOVIA DANZA” Court Dance Festival will be held from 28 July to 4 August 2014 with the “Spanish Court” as the principal theme. The very rich and original culture and art of Spain have inspired the greatest artists for centuries. In dance, music and theatre, Spanish motifs are among the core elements of the repertoire of many artists. In 17th and 18th century ballets, dance is used to tell the stories of Don Quixote and Don Juan. In every court in Europe, traditional Spanish dances are presented, including Espagnolettas, Airs Espagnols, Sarabandas, Canarios and Folies d’Espagne. Vila Decius Association is the co-organiser of the Festival.
