The Villa Decius Association is a partner of an international project in the field of the promotion of translation and literature – Transstar, which was initiated in January 2013 by the University of Tübingen and nine other European institutions. Its aim is to raise the profile of the less spoken European languages and cultures that the public is less aware of. For three consecutive years, universities and cultural institutions in Poland, Germany, Czech Republic, Slovakia, Croatia and Ukraine will carry out training for literary translators and culture animators, aimed at creating a network of institutions that will help individuals develop their transcultural competences.
