As part of the of the summary of the Chopin Year’s celebrations, Bogdan Zdrojewski, the Minister of Culture and National Heritage, awarded the Villa Decius Association with the diploma “for outstanding accomplishments for the legacy of the great composer, whose work is the foundation of Polish culture”. Since 2006, the Villa Decius Association has been organising the project “Heritage of Chopin” – a musical-educational series which focuses on promoting culture and cultural education in the music of Frederic Chopin. Katarzyna Trojanowska is the coordinator of the project.
