On 4 July 2013, the Renaissance interiors of Villa Decius hosted a gala dinner opening the second trilateral meeting of the presidia of the Polish Parliament, the National Assembly of the Republic of France and the German Bundestag. Claude Bartolone, President of the National Assembly of France and Norbert Lammert, President of the German Bundestag, arrived in Kraków at the invitation of the Marshal of the Polish Sejm, Ewa Kopacz, along with members of the presidia representing all parliamentary political groups. The meeting focused, among other issues, on the reform of the Economic and Monetary Union, the European Neighbourhood Policy and the Common Security and Defence Policy.
