Villa- Country – Europe: Indian Masala

14 September 2008 (Sunday), 12:00 – 18:30, free entry. The Villa Decius Association and the Polish School of Yoga invite you to another of the cycle of meetings Villa- Country – Europe. This time it will be devoted to the culture of India, as a contribution to this year being the Year of India in Poland.

The programme of the meeting includes lectures and presentation that aim to showing India as an unusual ‘masala of culture’ – a unique mosaic of languages, religions and ethnic traditions living together, as well as a space full of inner contrasts. As a culture attractive with its variety of colours, sounds, smells, beauty and richness of art, but also a culture marked by the poverty and pains of the everyday existence.
