The fifth volume of the „Conversations in Villa Deciu’s” series includes the most important speeches, discussions and reflections presented during the international conference „Rebuilding Peace in Post-conflict Communities. Role of media and Civil Organisations”. The conference was held in Villa Decius in September 2004. The conference served presentation of tasks of UN and international institutions in the process of rebuilding a State, as well as necessity of dialogue as well as responsibility of mass media in „terminating” conflicts. The book was published in Polish thanks to the financial support of the Ministry of National Defence of the Republic of Poland and British Embassy in Warsaw.
